Pretty Addictions Cyber Monday Special

I know, I have been a total slack ass lately with blogging.  I've just gotten caught up in getting ready for Christmas and all the school and work stuff, unfortunately blogging has been put on the back burner.  I have been crafting like crazy for Christmas and I must say I have made some super cute little crafts for everyone in my family!  I plan to do a blog post on everything I made with maybe some DIY instructions after the holidays. 
Anyway, today I wanted to share with you what I picked up from Pretty Addictions Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale.  The wonderful owner and my dear friend, Kassandra ran one hell of a sale in honor of the craziest shopping time of the year, 40% off EVERYTHING!!!! Plus as usual if you spent 20 dollars excluding shipping you received a free 5g jar of the Shadow of the Week!!!!

I just love the new little packaging they have been using.  I also LOVE the new look of the business cards!

I am absolutely in love with everything in this order.  I was a bit scared of Moulin Rouge at first, but it turns out I am seriously in love with it. 

Because of the incredible deal Kassandra was running I received ALL of these pretties for $23.90 INCLUDING shipping (which was only $2)!!!!!

To date this is my entire Pretty Addictions collection.  I should have fanned out the samples to show how many are there, because there are a quite a few!

Help!!! I need PAA!!!!

Yes, it's true... I officially have a problem... I need to start attending meetings to battle this addiction... Does anyone know of a Pretty Addictions Anonymous meeting I could attend? It seems that I just cannot stop ordering, and NO it isn't because the owner is one of my good friends, I truly am ADDICTED!
At the beginning of the month, Pretty Addictions released 5 new duochrome shadows, I am pretty sure I was the first to order, if not it was damn close. I had been texting her for almost a week asking her when I would be able to order.  When she finally told me they were up, I was sitting at O'Charleys with my friends Rachel and Blake and I ordered on my iPhone... Yes, that is how bad it is!!!

I am loving this little animal printed bag that all of my stuff came in.  This is a little different than the packaging I have gotten before. I love that it's not always the same packaging!! Keeps us habitual orders guessing :)

Aren't they just AMAZING??? I have only had them since Wednesday evening so I've only gotten to rock Unicorn Wings, Hocus Pocus, Brown Suga, and Foggy Hollow so far, but I AM IN LOVE!!!!

What do you ladies have planned this weekend? a bunch of my college friends are coming in to town this weekend... our Alma Mater is playing my Graduate School in football tomorrow so we are all heading to the game.  I am also flying to Canada this Sunday for a conference. I don't know if I will be able to do many makeup related blogs next week, but maybe I will post some pictures of the trip instead!!!

Purple because I can!!!

This morning I decided to do a purple eye look, mostly because now that I do not have BRIGHT purple hair, I can!! I caution you, when you look at these pictures to remember that my eyebrows are OUT of control.  I am trying to let them grow back in some so I can reshape them.  I decided a month or so ago I really didn't like the shape of my eyebrows so I am going to redo it :) Anyway, let's take a look!

I hadn't realized how out of control my eyebrows had gotten until I saw these pictures. Ugh, I'm sorry!!!

Another Pretty Addictions look!

I think we've figure it out by now, I love my Pretty Addictions makeup. This last weekend I decided I need to try something new out. New for me is using shadows that aren't brown, purple, or green.  The biggest change for me would be using blue or teal shadows. Teal is my favorite color but for some reason I have always thought it looked strange as an eyeshadow on me with my light blue eyes.  Let's see the look I created.

I actually really love this look! I rocked the teal eyeshadow a lot better than I had expected! I've been wearing a lot of my Pretty Addictions eyeshadow and I've only been wearing Pretty Addictions blush since I got them 6 weeks ago! I'm only slightly addicted :)

Also, for my birthday I decided I wanted new bedding. This is what I purchased :

It's a dark eggplant purple with white filigree designs.  It's also reversible so, the other side is white with the dark eggplant purple filigree. I thought it was so pretty and I think it matches my painting above my bed really well.  In case you are wondering, the painting was painted by one of my good friends from Ohio, Melissa.  I fell in love with the painting one day while I was visiting her and she literally took it off the wall and gave it to me. It made my day!

This is just a little proof that I seriously get the worst fortune cookies EVER!

EOTD-Pretty Addictions Style

Hey everyone! First, let me apologize for my absence in blogging the last week or so.  I have been battling some personal issues and honestly blogging has been the farthest thing from my mind on most days.  I wasn't really planning on blogging today, but I figured I probably should. 
I thought I'd share and Eye of the Day look with you all.  The pictures don't exactly due it justice, but really when do pictures?

I love this look! It's pretty neutral with just a pop of color!

I'm a big fan! Again the pictures don't really do it justice and please excuse the fact that my eyebrows need done in a big bad way!

Addicted to Pretty Addictions!!!

A few weeks ago Pretty Addictions was running a 40% off sale.  I couldn't pass it up!!! I had been eyeballing the blushes for quite some time so I had to take advantage of this sale! Let's see what I got! 

I ordered my goodies right before I left for vacation so it was sheer torture having to wait until I got back to see all of my pretties!!!

Let's unwrap all of the goodies and see what I purchased!

When I first went to the website the first things I threw in my cart were some of the new blushes!  

I decided on these: 

The blushes are in the most adorable containers.  They come in 20 gram jars with sifters so you don't have to worry about taking off the lid and dumping the whole container of blush! 

Seriously how cute is that container?? A pretty pink lid AND animal print... um yes please!!! 

I know that swatch isn't the best but The Big "O" is a coral color with more of an orange tint and a hint of golden shimmer!  I am in LOVE with this blush!!! 

Wild Thang is a HOT pink blush.  It looks similar to Hard Candy's Living Doll, but I personally think it's 100 times prettier!  I also really like that it doesn't have as much shimmer as Living Doll.

Since Pretty Addictions is such an awesome company I also was sent a sample size of their blush French Kiss.  I debated purchasing it when I placed my order, but I just didn't think I would wear it.  UM WRONG!!! I love this blush too! It's definitely not a color I would typically purchase but I was pleasantly surprised!

I've placed several orders with Pretty Addictions and I always forget to get a jar of Mudslide Ride, I've been using the sample sparingly.  I absolutely love this color and I am stoked I finally remembered to get it!

Isn't that such a pretty brown color?  

I also had to finally pick up some of the frosted hair flowers.  I decided to get smaller ones because I wasn't sure I could pull off a big flower in my hair.  

The top one is Lil Layla Purple and the bottom flower is Aubrey.  They are adorable!  

Now let's talk about the price tag... I was so stoked about that!

Fun Summery Eye look!!!

Awhile black I blogged about the mineral eyeshadows from Pretty Addictions. If you have yet to check out the shadows, you better get your butt over to that website and check it all out!  She's also now offering hair flowers, blushes, and bronzers!!! If interested click here :). I wanted to share one of my favorite looks using these products.  I love this look! It's nice and summery in my opinion.

Pretty right? Well at least I think so!
Lid color: Hero
Crease color: Mudslide Ride
Highlight: Bubbly
Lining bottom of the eye: Uplifting

How I did this, I patted "Hero" all over the lid, then used a blending brush to blend "Mudslide Ride" in to the crease and the Outer "V".  I applied "Bubbly" under the brow bone. Then using an eyeliner brush I lined the bottom of my eye with "Uplifting".  I lined the top of my eyelid using NYX's liquid eyeliner in Extreme Coffee and applied 2 coats of mascara to both top and bottom eyelashes!

Everytime I wear this look I feel all fun and summery, I love it!  I have said that several times, but I can't say it enough!
